Who We Are
About WonderTree
WonderTree Imagination Play Land was founded in 2025 by sisters Sandy and Socorro . WonderTree is a nonprofit organization under 501 (c) (3) .The name “WonderTree” reflects the belief that, much like a tree, every child deserves a strong foundation to flourish. It represents growth, imagination, comfort, and the natural curiosity that drives learning.
Inspired by their own children and the simple yet meaningful moments of connection—like children playing together under a tree—WonderTree was created to foster creativity, community, and a sense of belonging for every child and family who walks through its doors.
Founders of WonderTree
As founders of WonderTree, we share a deep passion for supporting children’s growth, learning, and development. With backgrounds in Early Childhood Education and hands-on experience working with children, we have dedicated ourselves to creating meaningful, play-based experiences that encourage creativity, confidence, and learning.
As mothers, we understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children feel comfortable exploring, expressing themselves, and building important life skills.
Our vision for WonderTree was inspired by both our professional experience and our personal journeys as parents. We wanted to create a welcoming space where families can come together, children can learn through play, and every child has the opportunity to grow in a positive and supportive environment.
At WonderTree, our goal is not only to provide a play space, but also to create a lasting and meaningful impact in the lives of children and families within our community.”

We are so excited to officially announce that WonderTree Imagination Playland is coming to the Yuba-Sutter community! 
WonderTree is a nonprofit children’s play space designed for kids ages 3-11 years old, where imagination, creativity, and learning come to life through play. Our space will feature hands-on areas like a pretend town, art and STEM activities, sensory play, and cozy reading spaces all created with a calm, beautiful, and welcoming environment for families.
